The farmhouse has a double en suite bedroom, a double bedroom
and
a twin bedded room and a twin bunk room; a separate bathroom with shower and toilet,
plus another toilet/shower room. In addition, two of the rooms
could take a Z-bed or cots with only a modicum of squeezing!
Leading off the main living room is a further twin bed/living room,
complete with en suite.
There is a country-style dining room leading onto a private decked/barbecue
area with a flowing water-feature; alongside that is a large lawned area
and courtyard, with another seating/water feature area.
The kitchen is a conservatory-style design, with
a small coffee/breakfast area off it. This leads into the living
room, which has a large inglenook with a wood burner. The entrance
porch is also a seating/coffee area, with access to a paved terrace
.

There is an American style fridge, dispensing apparently endless
ice and cold water, full equipment, including fan -assisted oven,
microwave and dishwasher. Seperate laundry facilities are available on an honesty system, whilst all linen, towels heating,
hot water are provided... It is all designed as we would like to find it ourselves!
The farmhouse itself is reputed to be in the region of four hundred
years old and is largely of cob and wattle and daub; however, it does
not suffer from any lack of modern comforts and amenities!

Although we are no longer a fully working farm, stone flagstones
and large informal garden areas make it eminently suitable for
families, as long as young children and dogs are kept under reasonable
control - after all, farm buildings and equipment are working environments!
The whole emphasis is to provide something that we ourselves would
like to find on holiday - comfort and character that provides that little
bit extra to what we would normally expect. The bonus is being situated
in a lovely area central for so many activities and attractions for
young and old.
